Employing an immeasurable amount of people, the process allowed a new kind of business to be started.  The impact of the Bessemer steel process not only benefited the production line and buildings, but the entire metal industry. Business worldviews changed. Throughout his life Henry Bessemer earned over one hundred and ten patents. His innovation of the steel process was by far the most significant, impacting the world and changing it forever.
